Where Color Grows is a series of expressive landscapes that explore the emotional language of color and the quiet presence of place. Each painting is created intuitively,
guided less by observation and more by feeling—where memory, light, and atmosphere blend into something both familiar and imagined. Water, sky, and land appear throughout the collection as gentle anchors, but it is color that leads. Layers of vibrant and muted tones—soft pinks, luminous blues, earthy greens, and glowing golds—are built up through loose, gestural marks and delicate details. Wildflowers emerge, trees flicker into form, and horizons shift, creating landscapes that feel alive, fluid, and deeply personal. These are not exact places but remembered ones. Felt places. The kind you recognize not with your eyes, but with your senses.
